Please note that further to feedback and questions from members of the public we have taken the unusual step of moving the location of the Governing Body meeting on 5 September 2019 from the CCG offices at Toll Bar House in Ilkeston to Charnos Hall at Ilkeston Community Hospital, Heanor Road, Ilkeston DE7 8LN. This is to reflect the potential for more members of the public to attend.
It is important to note that NHS Derby and Derbyshire CCG meetings are meetings in public and not public meetings and our constitution is clear that members of the public are invited to attend and observe the meetings but not to ask questions or attempt to engage in dialogue with the Governing Body members either individually or collectively. Please see our website for information about the process for raising questions in advance.
It remains our intention to hold Governing Body meetings in public but we have strictly managed agendas and a code of conduct which includes mutual respect and we respectfully ask that all attendees to Governing Body meetings observe this. We do reserve the right constitutionally to halt meetings if we are unable to conduct and complete CCG business or to run closed Governing Body meetings but this is not our preference in line with our commitment to engaging and involving our public, patients, partners and stakeholders in all the work that we do.
