Governing Body Meetings during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Virtual Governing Body Meetings in Public
In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the CCG Governing Body has been meeting virtually since April 2020. The Governing Body is currently meeting in public and confidentially on a monthly basis.
As we continue with our response to the pandemic and further to the latest Government guidelines and restrictions it is likely that our Governing Body will continue to meet virtually for the foreseeable future.
We will take questions from the public, relating ONLY to the agenda, in advance of the meeting which we will read out at the meeting, and in addition to responding to the questioner we will also publish the responses within our public minutes on the Governing Body section of the CCG website. If you wish to ask a question, relating to the agenda, of our Governing Body please email it to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Governing Body Question” in the subject line. A response will be provided following the Governing Body meeting and we will endeavour to provide an answer within 7 working days.
The CCG has been reviewing its approach to holding Governing Body meetings in public throughout the pandemic. Since the start of the pandemic, we have made changes to the way we have delivered the meetings and adjusted the process to facilitate questions.
From 1 April 2021, we have been holding our Governing Body meetings in public virtually via livestream, which gives members of the public and the media the opportunity to see what decisions are being taken in real time.
Before every meeting takes place we will publish a link on this page so you can join the meeting and watch the meeting online.
All Governing Body agendas, papers and Ratified Minutes will be published once available on this website here.
