Engagement Committee

The Engagement Committee which reports jointly to Joined Up Care Derbyshire (JUCD) and Derby and Derbyshire CCG (DDCCG) started 1 May 2019, and has met monthly since. Members include representatives from the Governing Body, representatives from Place, foundation trusts, Healthwatch and the Voluntary Sector. CCG Commissioners may be asked to attend the Engagement Committee to update on the programme or scheme that they are working on including an update the communications and engagement strategy in place for that specific piece of work. This approach provides both oversight and confirm and challenge opportunities for the Engagement Committee. Examples of the work of the Engagement Committee include:

  • Shaping the emerging engagement model (more detail in the Priorities for 2020/21 section below)

  • Joined Up Care engagement programmes including the STP refresh and publications

  • Supporting the developing of risk reporting and Governing Body Assurance Framework

  • Reviewing the consultation and engagement processes on key programmes such as the Light House, the Urgent Care Review

  • Feedback on commissioning intentions

  • Deep dives on programmes and schemes including repeat prescribing and Medicines Order Line

Agenda's for the engagement committee are published with the Governing body papers which can be found here. They will be separately available on this page soon.
